One of my player's instruments shows no rests

Any idea how to fix this issue?

In a pinch, I can just write out the vocal part on the instrument line but I was using the vocal library to hear it in playback.

Select the first visible note or rest (it’ll be the note in the next bar) and unset its Starts Voice property. If this doesn’t work, double click at the start of the empty bar and type Shift-B rest Enter.
