Hi there,

( one of the features not working since the SX days ) MediaBay Preview In Key doesn t work and needs Fix or proper Coding

Like stated in the topic

This feature has been advertised for over 10 years and never has it worked

You can try this by

  1. downloading all older versions of Cubase
  2. Tune a folder of samples to a certain key
  3. Write Key information to those samples
  4. Preview things in MediaBay
  5. Realize there is no rationale as to why and when MediaBay preview in key stops working and jams the whole library

This feature was never properly tested

Hoping it could work after 10-15 years of implementation

Win8.1Pro ( all versions of windows likely OSX too )
CubasePro9.5.20 ( all versions of Cubase )

This is more of a snide comment than a bug report. If you want someone to look at it, report it in a support ticket, or write a proper repro.

All worked as expected when I followed the steps in the thread above.

Yeah, looks like. Can’t really tell what’s happening on his system. Maybe header data differs in the files, as was said in the other thread…
