Why am I getting rests above the drum notation in this screen shot? I checked set up and each instrument of the drum set is in voice 1.
On a different subject it drives me nuts when I try to delete 4 measures of a score, that I’ve highlighted, only to have a zillion other measures disappear at the same time because they are tied together or the percussion part happens to have slash notation for 32 bars! It’s very confusing, and frustrating, to highlight something you want to delete but you end up deleting a whole lot of other measures (or notes) you had no intention of deleting.
Any work around for that (other than remembering to untie everything and delete slashes and then redo it all)?
