Open a Nuendo 10 project in Cubase 8.5?

Does anybody know if I can open a Nuendo 10 project in Cubase 8.5?

An engineer recorded sessions using Nuendo 10. I would like him to send me the projects and use them mostly as a backup.

I am wondering too. Only in my case, it is Nuendo 11 in Cubase 9.5.
