And yes, I’m aware that you can assign a key command to open an instrument. However, you end up with a bunch of open VST windows as you navigate through different tracks if you forget to close the VST before selecting another track. Even when you remember to close them, it’s still an extra click every time. I simply want the VST window to follow the track selection.
