Just downloaded newest version of D6 and am trying to open new project for stadard two stave piano but keep getting this. What’s goin on?

I just opened new project and I certainly didn’t check auto cutaways. Isn’t that a new feature? I’ll see if I can’t find how to disable that - and thanks for the repliese
I looked at that and it was on so problem solved but this is my first project in the new version and I did not enable that feature.

If it’s enabled by default, that’s because you have at some point saved a set of layout options with that option enabled as your default layout options for new projects. This is something you have done, even if you did it unintentionally.

I did use that a couple of projects ago but not recently and I didn’t anticipate it carrying over to the new version.
Only if you pressed save as default.

I just assumed changes of that type would only affect the project I used them in and not carry over.
Save as Default makes the settings user defaults, which will apply to all new projects.

Then probably you saved as template…
