This is a very minor but useful request. I think it would be nice to have an option in the Plugin Manager to set a particular plugin to open by default with the generic Cubase GUI, instead to having to select this mode every time we open an instance. I’m thinking on situations when the GUI graphics are very CPU intensive and cause audio glitches, or plugins that don’t respond to the AI knob when using their default GUIs.

Not a bad idea at all. So many plugins have very poor GUI’s and does not work properly as VST3.

There are many plugins that just don’t open, and maybe it’s because their GUI are in conflict somehow with the system. Don’t know…
That would be superb to have, actually it should be there years ago IMHO.
