Opening Cubase projects opens every plugin editor at once

Is there a way to have to not have every single plugin window open when opening projects? They take up a lot of GPU power on my Macbook Pro and it slows everything down until I close them. Its just laborious to have to do this every single time I open a project. Is there a way I’m not aware of or do I just have to close them all one by one every time.

The state of windows, that are specific to the project, is saved with the project. So if you close all these windows and then save the project the windows should not open automatically on the next loading of the project.

You can use a key command to close all plugins.
