Opening old files in Version 2.2

Hi,
I have a project, which is nearly ready for publication. I’d love to test Dorico 2.2 and I want to use some of the new features on the existing project, but I fear, that it will look different when I open the file in 2.2. Do I have to fear big changes (so I would rather stay with 2.1.10) or is it quite safe to update?
It is probalby not possible to run Dorico 2.1.10 and 2.2 on the same machine.

You can run Dorico 2.1.10 and Dorico 2.2 on the same machine if you need to. On Mac, you can rename your current Dorico 2.app to e.g. Dorico 2.1.10.app and then run the full Dorico 2.2 installer, which will then put a new Dorico 2.app alongside the existing one, which will be version 2.2. On Windows, you can rename the “Dorico 2” folder in Program Files to e.g. “Dorico 2.1.10” and then run the full Dorico 2.2 installer, which will put 2.2 in a new folder called “Dorico 2” in the same location.

I wouldn’t expect scores last saved in 2.1.10 to change appearance in 2.2, but it’s not impossible, of course.
