Nearly every time I open a project for the first time (after machine startup), Cubase freezes and I have to fore quite the application twice. Then it just opens fine the 3rd time.
This has been happening consistently for a very ling time.
I’m now using the latest version of 12 and it is exactly the same. So why is it always taking so many attempts to open a project?
Have you done this:
How long after startup?
Is the project folder a subfolder in an OneDrive or a Google Drive folder?
What happens if you start your computer, leave it alone for a half hour & then launch Cubase?
No it is on the main hard drive, I wait a couple of minutes maybe before opening. I’m using a high spec Macbook with nothing much else in the computer so it isn’t busy doing things when I load up.
