OpenType Features: dlig behavior and Qt framework

Hi Daniel, @dspreadbury

I’m curious if Dorico 5 supports the dlig OT feature. My custom dlig code works perfectly on FL8, Pages.app and TextEdit.app, but it doesn’t seem to work on D5.

Is this a limitation of the current Qt framework? I’d really appreciate any insights you can provide.

In theory, dlig is supported by Qt, though the availability of this feature depends on a number of factors, including precisely how the text is rendered. It’s quite possible that the overall configuration that we are using for text rendering is preventing this feature from being used. If you want to send me the font you’re working on, I can investigate further.
