I usually disable most things; depending on the work, I may or may not leave the option ticked to group lines of text into frames. Often I want to nudge individual words, so I prefer to untick this option. I will sometimes change the color space to greyscale as well, although more often than not, I leave the colorspace and dpi at “estimate” since it’s all vector stuff, and that ultimately doesn’t matter. And usually if I want actual graphics, I end up adding them in AP rather than dorico.
Technically, it’s an Illustrator clone. Affinity Publisher is the InDesign clone.
