Option to Disable Auto-Makeup Gain in Multiband Compressor?

The title pretty much says it. :stuck_out_tongue: When I lower the threshold on any of the bands, that band automatically gets louder to compensate. A lot of my time is spent trying to lower it back to it’s original perceived volume, since I’m usually reaching for a multi comp to control volatile frequencies, or subtly tighten up a mix.

As far as I know, there’s no way to disable this. Any chance we can get the option to?

Hi VX967,

try to enable the internal side-chain functionality per band by activating the “SIDE CH” button.
Thus, the auto make-up gain will be less extreme.
