Option to Disable the MIDI Automation Data on Import into Dorico

Hello Dorico team,
I hope you are all doing well during these hard days!
Would be nice if you include an option to Disable the MIDI Automation data in the
MIDI Import dialog. This could be a time saving feature if we don’t want to import
This sort of data from DAW project.
I hope you would think about it!

Best wishes,

Try switching on Filter out MIDI controllers on the Play page of Preferences before you import your MIDI file.

Hi @dspreadbury ,
I hope you are doing well! Thank you for the reply!
Unfortunately this function doesn’t work. It doesn’t prevent the MIDI CC data of being imported
into project. I did switch it “on” but all CC’s were imported.
One more thing. Function that prevents CC data of being imported should be on the pop-up dialog. Currently we have to do few needless steps more… The pop-up dialog works per MIDI file basis, the Preferences are global.
I hope you would think to make this little improvement!

Best wishes,
