i put a protools gif example, on how you can edit automation on a folder track. in this example i have many background vocals in a combined folder and bus, so i can close the folder and edit automation on the folder level and no need for separate group. (of course the group is shown in the mixer as well)
and a separate request but related to this , cubase should have option to show automation lanes on the events like in all Daws now days,it saves screen real estate and its cleaner.
