Options for secondary beam and tuplet

Before I think I’m daydreaming, is it correct that there currently is no option to automatically have secondary beams that originate like this:

Automatically become this:

Without having to use the Beam Together function?

Not that I can find, no. But of course Beam Together is pretty quick with a keyboard shortcut.

Of course, I use Option-B for that, but an option would be even quicker
