Options to change accidental style for figured bass on a case‑by‑case basis within a project

Hello,

At present, Dorico allows us to set the accidental style for figured bass (for example, choosing the “slash” option) globally via Engraving Options. However, I would like to know if there is a way to apply a different accidental style to a specific figured bass instance within a project, rather than having the global setting affect all of them.

For example, in some passages I would prefer to use the slashed‑number notation (e.g. a 6 with a diagonal stroke) instead of the sharp sign (#6), but only for those particular figures.

Is there currently any method to override the global accidental style for individual figured bass entries? If not, I would like to submit this as a feature request, since it would be very useful for scores that mix notational conventions.

Thank you!

Nevertheless, I seem to recall recommending in March of this year that you choose a font other than the one included by default in Dorico when working on Baroque pieces.
I can only reiterate my advice.

I don’t know if Ben has improved his font since then, but it’s really good and allows for much more than the tool built into Dorico.
