Options to replace data with MIDI record

I’m wondering if it would be possible to add an option to replace ALL existing MIDI data (both notes and automation, even if the controller hasn’t been touched) when recording, as opposed to the current overdub method for controllers. I’ve had to stop recording to clean up sustain pedal data a number of times now. This may already be in the pipeline, and if so I’ll leave you to it!

And one other thing that may already be on your radar but I’ll just bring up while I’m here: punch in and punch out locators for recording.

I’ll make a note of this requirement concerning removal of MIDI controllers in the affected region and we’ll see about adding it in a future version. Thanks for the suggestion.

Punch-in/-out is already on the backlog, but not currently a high priority.
