I’m having trouble setting up a percussion track.
I’m using Orchestral Tools Berkley along with the complete expression map configured for Berkley—an offering from Steinberg.
When I create a percussion track, I need to know the exact instrument name from Dorico’s list of options, and it has to match the name in Berkley exactly (this works for some instruments, like timpani, etc.), but for many others, the instrument doesn’t load.
On top of that, I don’t have the list of Berkley percussion instruments (and their names), and the naming conventions are often ambiguous.
Is anyone else experiencing this issue? Or has it already been resolved?
