Hello,
I hope anybody can help me. I’m not so firm with percussion tables. I tried to create a table with
triangle
sticks (I used woodblock high to have a similar sound)
rim of base drum (I used woodblock low to have a similar sound)
base drum
tamtam
I placed the Instruments in tih direction on the percussion table but in the score the insttruments are ordered this way
base drum
triangle
tamtam
sticks
rim of base drum
(to see in the screenshot)
How can I change the position of the percussion instruments in the percussion Line?
I hope there’s someone who can help. If so, thank you in advance.
Best regards
Rainer
Your screenshot shows the 5-line staff settings. The grid ones (which you’re looking for) are in the next tab (apparently “Raster” auf Deutsch
)

Hello charles_piano,
thank you thats the solution. I think when the current project is done I need to spend some time in Percussion notation…

This very thorough video by John Barron should be of interest to you!

another Problem you perhaps can help: How to change the direction of stems. I have changend the stems for the base drum from upwards to downwards but the’re still upwards. Where can I change the direction?
Thank you so much! I haven’t found this video yet. One and a half hour percussion and drum set course! I think then the most questions should be answered.

Not at my computer to check, but I think that if you check “Schlagzeug” (Drum Set) in the upper right corner of the Percussion Kit dialog, the stems will alaways follow the voice-stem direction.
Not sure, but try and see if it works (and if it doesn’t bring issues elsewhere).
Otherwise, it’s always possible to select the notes and press F.
