Organ fingering - dash to indicate held fingers

Has anyone figured out a good work around to create a dash for fingerings for held notes like this? I wish this was a simple option in Dorico:

This is the Dorico solution for fingering (unless I’m missing something) which is not as helpful or elegant.

I don’t find a way to use the dashes. There is a setting in Engrave Options that allows the held fingering to be enclosed in parentheses. Fingering is probably one of those areas where some finesse would be nice in terms of features like you describe. It’s just not there yet as far as I can tell.

thanks, as far as I can tell, parentheses only work on tied notes, which you don’t always have in polyphonic music.

Having an option for an extender line on any fingering would be great too.

You are correct. Hopefully the development team will put this on their list of considerations for updates.
