Organ registration and dynamics? (OT)

Hi all,

Is there any standard practice on where registrations and dynamics go in a 3 stave organ score?

I am editing some music from 19th century and it is all over the place. Would be nice to conform to modern standards if there are any.

Elaine Gould’s book, Behind Bars, has the info you need for organ music in general. Pages 342-348 cover the methodology for organ notation including registrations and dynamics for both 3 and 2 stave scores. Here’s a graphic clip but the text is really what you need to understand the process.
