Ornaments vertical positioning when using slurs

how can I tell Dorico how to vertically positioning ornaments when using slur lines?

Hi @gagiuino – those are articulations, and you can set them to be positioned inside slurs project-wide in Library > Engraving Options > Articulations > Slurs.

It works perfectly, it has global effect actually, can’t be used selectively for single notes, can it?

Check out the lower panel in Engrave Mode. Select note with articulation and you can adjust the offsets.

There isn’t a property for this, no. You would need to move the articulation and slur endpoints manually in Engrave mode.

In engrave mode, in Properties, look for “Slur-relative position”.

There is also the slur property “Avoid collisions” which helps in certain scenarios.
