OS Yosemite vs OS El Capitan with Cubase

Good day all,

I have Cubase Elements 6. I use a MacBook Pro with OS Yosemite. I’m getting prompted to upgrade to OS El Capitan. Will there be any issue running Cubase if I upgrade to OS El Capitan?

Hi,

Cubase Elements 6 is not Mac OS X 10.11 compatible. So it’s “on your own risk”.

If you are using Class Compliant audio device, you will nit be able to use Sample Rate higher than 48kHz. This is one issue, I know for sure.

If you want to go to Mac OS X 10.11, I would recommend you to upgrade your Cubase to Cubase Elements 8.
