OSX: How transfer KC, Macros, PLE scripts to 8?

I presume its possible to copy over your settings to Cubase 8 by just copying the files from

C:\Users<username>\AppData\Roaming\Steinberg\Cubase 7_64

to

C:\Users<username>\AppData\Roaming\Steinberg\Cubase 8_64

this is a daft question maybe but the cubase 8 folder is full of stuff so do you just copy them over from the 7.5 folder and replace them or what please :blush: I’m terrified of knackering something…

I try and migration was success except VST plugs…it scan again …

Hm… For me every setting, all the plugins, everything was just the way I left it in 7.5 when I opened 8. I didn’t do anything. Awesome. (Mountain Lion OSX, 64-bit)

Last time (update from 7 to 7.5) I did it all over manually again: a real waste of time, and painfully searching through the weird folder structure of Cubase (Win 7/64).

This time I at least want to ask:
is there any fast way to get old settings from Cubase 7.5 back into Cubase 8?

How do you all do it?

I just copy / paste everything in the preference folder , works fine here

I just installed Cubase 8 and it imported everything automatically from my Cubase 7.5 settings.

Funny, no settings import from 7.5 during update here (and also not back then upgrading from 7 to 7.5)
