Apple removed native PostScript interpreting. MacOS can still generate PostScript for printing, but can’t render it on screen.
Ebrooks is on windows , so edge (the standard browser)is a good solution as maarten stated
I’m not convinced that’s the case. Edge will open a pdf file via an add-on or built-in plug-in. And along with that file, Edge will also launch an instance for every browser extension installed. It will also start the sync process, the browser notification process, the Office 365 click-and-run, and all the rest. It’s certainly not a streamlined nor a lightweight option. Plus, my template is quite demanding as far as resources go and using any browser always gives me crazy CPU spikes.
So far, Foxit has been working really well.
Okay , thats not my experience .
Slim pdf or Foxit are good and lightweight
I highly recommend MuPDF because it is light and don’t have annoying upper bar like in browsers pdf readers. It is excellent for transcriping so that MuPDF is in same screen as the Dorico but below, so you can transcribe tablature or score. I use Windows Powertoys for keeping it always on top. Also you can use Stream deck pedal for changing pages.
