Overlaying frames

I want an object to overlay a frame. In this case, an arrow should overlay an image frame which is just white. So basically, the arrow should be visible, even though it’s crossing the frame. Is this possible? Thanks.

Not in general, I suspect. I have a feeling text frames are drawn after music frames. You might be able to do it by superimposing a graphic frame over a text frame, and putting the arrow in as a graphic, but I’m not certain whether graphic or text frames are drawn first.

Okay thanks! Text frames are indeed superimposing the graphic frame by default. How do you make it the opposite?

Can you give us a visual example of what you’re trying to achieve? Perhaps there’s another method that might get the same end result?

Yes! This is my current solution. I think it will look neater, if the arrow first up and then right instead. In this case it should superimpose the graphic frame, which is just white.
