Override timing in just a single part?

Is there a way to over ride the timing in select parts? I have a project where I am in a swing 3, but would like on occasion to have a part play even 8ths notes for a measure or 2…

Put the caret at the start of the part in question, Shift-T>Straight (no swing), then confirm with Alt-Enter to make it local to only that part.

This should also work outside of note input, so long as you’ve only selected something that belongs to one staff (like a note or slur, but not a time signature).
