Oversize montage display on Project load

I am not sure if this is described correctly in the title.

Sometimes (not often) when I open a Project and go to a montage the wave form display is ‘oversize’ within the montage. Hitting CTRL+arrow down restores it instantly to normal.

The next montage along in the Tab was fine.

This is of no practical consequence, but I cannot figure out why this randomly happens.

I always save a Project on close etc.

If it is relevant, my Projects are organized with Tabs one of which is Montages.

I am on WL Pro 12.0.50 and current build of Windows 10.

Any ideas?

I cannot show the whole screen without a lot of redaction as this example is a major label artist unreleased track.

FWIW, I see this behavior when I start a project on one computer, and then open it on another computer with a different display size. I have to resize the tracks and things to make sense on the display of the computer I have moved to.

Is there any change your display size is changing in some way between openings of this montage?

Hi Justin

Is there any change your display size is changing in some way between openings of this montage?

Good thought but no … at least not that I can discern. This is my main system and the display and other system settings remain unchanged for stability and consistency. The montage adjacent in the same Tab is fine. Which is what I can’t figure out It appears to be random.

It doesn’t really concern me, I’m just curious as to ‘why’. And to clarify, ‘Project’ here means a wpr

I have observed the same thing in the past. I ignore the reason. I haven’t seen that for a long time. I will keep an eye open.
