Page Margins/Landscape Score

How do I adjust the margins for my score? I have printed out my big band score in landscape orientation. The staves are all scrunched closely together, unnaturally close together. And there’s all this empty space at the top and bottom of the pages. I watched videos on Youtube about margins. I tried following those instructions - from the Library tab I went to Layout Options. I saw the Page size options for the width and height with measurements in mm. having no idea what those numbers meant i experimented by increasing the numbers a little. I didn’t see a change. So now, asking for help.

Or maybe it’s not a page margin issue(?)

That’s the size of the page in millimeters. If you prefer to deal in inches, you can set this as a general preference (in Preferences > General > Preferred unit of measurement), or you can just type numbers directly in inches, like 12in, and Dorico will handle the conversion.

But I don’t think you want to change the page size, I think you want to adjust the margins. Those are in Layout Options > Page Setup > Page Margins. And probably you want to make your margins smaller, not larger.

After that, take a look at the page in Engrave mode, and see what the frame fullness indicator in the bottom right of the page says. If it’s over 100%, then you’ll need to adjust things like your space size and minimum gaps. If you upload your project file here, someone can give you more specific advice.

From the looks of the page, no matter how the margins change, the rastral size of the staves will need to be smaller (i.e. have a higher rastral number).
