Hello guys, I’m trying to create a standard page for title and ensemble that I can reuse for all my pieces, but for some reason I can’t see anything after importing it.
Here are the steps I’m following:
I created a master page with blank new model (let’s call it ‘Title’).
I edited it and inserted two text frames and exported the master set.
Open another project.
Import master set.
Create a new page with the ‘Title’ model.
New page shows up, but it’s empty. The model it’s on the list and I can see my custom text frames if I go into edit mode.
Maybe I’m missing something here.
Hi @lodew, yes if you submit an Dorico Project example of your issue it will be much easier to find the culprit.
Just a guess:
probably you have forgotten to click the L → R (Copy Page Layout Left to Right) button before applying and closing your page template?
(We tend to edit the left page of our template, and if we don’t copy left to right, when we apply it on the first page (being it a title page for example), and the first page being a right page per default, the result will be a page without content.)
