Panning Issue

I recorded drum tracks with 7 mics, I had them all set to mono input and stereo output. I’m trying to pan these tracks, but when I pan it to the left it merely lowers the volume, and when I pan to the right it increases the volume (through both headphones).

How would I make it so I can pan the channels properly?

Configure your interface (which ever that is) and your Cubase- (which ever version that is) connections correctly…

Alright I’ll give that a shot, I’m using Firestudio Project and Cubase 5. I ended up exporting the tracks and played it back through a set of headphones in the phone jack and the panning worked. Must be the interface connection, thanks!

EcoShoc: I think your setup is wrong in VST CONNECTIONS

Does it look like this  click the Link http://home.comcast.net/~halljack505/pwpimages/vst%20%20connections%20%202.PNG all inputs in vst connections should be Mono also

Also on your main page does it look like this  http://home.comcast.net/~halljack505/pwpimages/full%20screen.PNG

audio 01 = mono in
audio 02 = mono in 2
audio 03 = mono in 3
etc.

Hope this helps
