Parentheses disappearing from dynamics after reopening project

I’m using Dorico Pro 6.2.30.6245 on Windows and am having a strange problem with parenthesized dynamics.

I enter a dynamic through the Shift+D popover as (f). It appears correctly with parentheses. I have also tried entering (F), and both versions work initially.

I made sure the property was set globally rather than only in the current layout. The parenthesized dynamic appears correctly in the score and parts while I’m working. However, after I close Dorico completely and reopen the project, some of the parentheses have disappeared. The dynamic itself remains, but it is shown as a normal f rather than (f).

Steps:

  1. Enter a dynamic using Shift+D.
  2. Type (f) and press Enter.
  3. Confirm that the parentheses appear.
  4. Make sure the change is global.
  5. Save the project and close Dorico completely.
  6. Reopen the project.
  7. The dynamic may now appear without its parentheses.

I have seen this happen more than once, so it does not seem to be an accidental local-property change. Is this a known issue in 6.2.30, or is there another setting that could cause Dorico to remove the parentheses when the file is reopened?
