I would like to place brackets or parentheses around a chord that spans the two hands in a piano part. Something like this:
Any idea to go about this? I was thinking of vertical lines that go from notehead to notehead, but unsure how to achieve this. TIA
Hi @AndresAbarca, you could use two vertical lines (applied to the selected chord on the left and on the right). Setting the Curved (up) and (down) as Line body style, you can then edit that Line Body from menu Library > Line Bodies… > Tapered Curves (category) > Curve (up) and (down) to look like a parenthesis. In the screenshot you see all the settings and properties:

If you want to create default vertical lines, that you can have in all projects, follow this visual guide, starting from menu Library>Lines… (follow the numbers):
