As I mentioned in my other thread, Just upgraded from Cubase 5 to 8.5: part appearance question - Cubase - Steinberg Forums the transparent parts that used to be an option in Cubase 5 are much easier for me to see. Surely it can’t be that hard to reintroduce them in 8.5?
