Part info in the project window

Hi,

in previous version there used to be an option to display some information for the selected part in the project window. Can this be done in Cubase 8 Pro?

Hi,

I’m not sure what you mean but I think it’s the same thing I was missing. When you click a part like an audio part it shows the filename in the “black bar”. Previous versions showed extra info directly next to that. To get that back just rightclick the black bar and select Description to get that back.

Was this what you mean?

Yes Blademan, that’s exactly what I mean.

There it is in the manual, go figure!
Click Set up Window Layout button (top left corner), and the select Info Line.
