Part of the chord sometimes doesn’t show up when I input it. The chord is entered correctly like Ab/C but only the /C show up on the page. But not all the chords showed up that way only 3. What can I do to correct this.

Maybe an idea for the team to change the default in this respect? 
Save your Engraving options as default. That is at the bottom of the Engraving options window.
Every new file woll follow those options. And restoring those new defaults in old files will make this look aq you want.

I was just wondering how Dorico behaved right out of the box? Because I remember seeing a lot of those threads lately, where new users are tripping up on this!

Well yes! I mean, defaults setting won’t be for everyone, we need to change them according to our needs. I don’t have a problem with that setting by default, but understand others won’t like it. You seldom have people react in the forum because the default setting is just what they wanted it to be, right? So no wonder we read more complaints about this than praise of the default setting. I don’t mean to sound patronizing or anything… My advice stands for those who don’t know how it works!

Thank you for replying to my case. That fixed the problem the chord symbols are showing correctly now.
