Partial barre chords

In classical guitar notation, it is common to have whole and half barre chords, which are usually notated e.g. CII or 1/2CII (for the latter Dorico uses a C with a vertical line). Sometimes, however, you have to notate e.g. a 4/6CII or a 2/6CII, but I don’t see that Dorico has such a function? What is the easiest way to solve this?

If it’s a playing technique, can’t you create your own?

Just an example: (a bad one)

In my 50-some-odd years of guitar playing I don’t think I’ve ever seen barre notation as above. Is this a new standard? What does it look like in print? If it’s just 2 or 3 of the 6 strings, usually the same fingering is enough to tell the player a barre is suggested.

Inquiring minds want to know…

It is common to use a fraction combined with the letter C and a Roman numeral. Of course, the fraction is not formatted as in the forum text but as in the screenshots above.

That could be a solution. but then I have to make a new one for each combination. If I make my own, are they saved in the document or in the app? Maybe it’s best to do it in a template?

They are saved in the document or in the app (or rather the user library), if you click the save as default star icon in the lower left of the playing technique editor.
