Participating in live streaming info session and book a switch session

Hello,

I am very new to using Dorico Pro 5. I have only been on the software for just over one month.
I just watched the you tube video Create a Perfect music layout. It was excellent. Other people were able to ask questions , I was not sure how I could do that for future sessions.

Also I was interested in booking a switch session. I am not sure how to do that as I have not heard back from my emails. Maybe you guys are very busy or you didn’t get my emails. Please assist me with this request. At least let me know what to do next.

Check out the Dorico resources page. There are links to Steinberg-certified tutors there.

HI Shawn. I don’t seem to have your email. Can you email me again please? discoverdorico@steinberg.de

I’ll be at NAMM next week and then a London education expo the week after so there will be a delay before I can arrange sessions again, sorry.

Hello,

I sent another email, but here is my email address.

I hope you can find my emails.

Cheers and thanks

Not a good idea to post your email here where it can be harvested.

(For John, his being a business address, things may be different.)

Better, if one must, to release a variant…

and let someone who wants to contact you put the pieces back together him-or-her-self.

Thank you.
Great advice.

Hi Dan. I’m looking to book the free, 1 hr #SwitchSession. Are you able to sub-contract with Steinberg to provide that service?
I emailed Steinberg last week and attached a score sample, but there’s been no response. I’m under deadline for a commissioned piece for handbells and optional Cymbells or piccolo. I watched Dorico’s Score Layout video, which was helpful. But I still could use help with a few specific tasks (cleaning up layout, re-assigning instrument playback and creating Bells Needed chart in the handbell part). Thank you for your help!

Hi, I do offer tutoring sessions, but independent from Steinberg and not gratis, I’m afraid. You can contact me through dankreider.com if you’re interested (contact form at the bottom of the page).

Thanks, Dan. Looks like I’ll need to keep working in Finale until I can get assistance from Steinberg.
