I’m having a problem, that one of my percussion players is not available to be selected for parts. In the setup there is a player assigned:
Which is Percussion 01.
In the score there is music for this player written. However, the player does not appear for the parts.
Percussion 01 is just simply skipped for selecting.
How can I solve this?

In Setup, does
Setup → Create Default Part Layouts
… bring it back?
Where is that list of parts taken from?
If it’s the drop-down menu from the middle of the toolbar at the top of the window, then that is the layout selector.
Layouts are on the right hand side in Setup mode.
This was from the middle of the toolbar.
Create Default Part Layouts solved the problem. Even though I still do not understand, why it vanished.
I also did not find the parts for percussion 01 on the right hand side in Setup mode. It appeared there as well once Create Default Part Layouts was used.
Creating default part layouts ensures that every player has at least one corresponding part layout.
Layouts exist on the right in Setup mode.
Layouts are essentially “views” of music: the same piece of music appears in both the score and parts, but the view in the score is of “all players”, but in the part it’s just a selected player.
