Paste / Insert a dynamic (like f) inside or in the middle of a hairpin.

Hi,

I have seen in several Dorico videos (see attachment) the possibility to paste a dynamic (like f) inside a hairpin.
Can’t figure out how to actually do it. Can somebody help or refer to a tutorial video about this ?

You actually have two hairpins, i.e. p < mf < f, and then set the option ‘Appearance of hairpins before and after a text dynamic’ on the Dynamics page of Engraving Options.
