Pasting rhythm to drum kit

Hi
Is there a way to paste rhythm to drum kit?
I’ve written a bass part and want to copy the rhythm to the drum kit and when I try nothing happens

I saw that I can paste it into a voice if the carret is on but when I try to use the lock tool in order to change the orchestration of the drums it doesn’t work.

Any thoughts?

You could try temporarily changing the drumkit to show as single-line instruments under Library->Layout Options->Players->Percussion.
Then, when you have pasted change it back again.

Thanks. I was looking for something more straightforward. hopefully, the Dorico team will add this option in a future update.

It’s not that bad, and the only way at the moment, as far as I know.
