I’ve put together a patch name script for my Yamaha Montage. It all works fine for any single patch, but, any “Multi” patch needs the midi channel to be set to “Any” instead of a channel number. When the channel is set to “Any” the patch names go away, and I’m left with the default bank/program number selector. Does anyone know of a way to display patch names in the inspector without choosing a midi channel?
