PATCH SCRIPT Installation Needs Overhauled

  1. Why do we have to do a crazy file dive to install a patch script for Cubase?
    Why can’t we just have an Import Device option? This setup makes ZERO sense. If you want to INSTALL a device it has to be in Cubase’s pre-defined folder or in the Inactive folder.

  2. As it stands I have to:
    Hold down GO/OPTION/LIBRARY/PREFERENCES/CUBASE 11/SCRIPTS/INACTIVE. That gets me where I need to be . Then I have to put the script into that folder so I can USE it inside of C11

  3. The procedure is convoluted on PC as well

Thoughts?

We should be able to simply Install Script from the drop down menu in the Devices
