Patches' auto-speed vs. Dorico EM's conditions

Maybe this can contribute to a decision when creating an expression map.

EMs allow using conditions to select different sound patches for fast and slow performance. For example, you can use the Slow Legato patch for notes down to a quaver, and the Fast Legato patch for notes with a shorter duration.

However, some sound libraries already include auto-speed patches, automatically selecting the right sound under or over a particular speed threshold.

I’m now preferring this solution, because this will continue to select the correct patch even when the music is slowed down or accelerated. The threshold in the sound library will continue to detect the correct speed, whichever the written value of the notes in the score.
