Not entirely sure what I managed to fat-finger to achieve this, but the Pattern Editor specifically now no longer acts like the midi editor: it cannot fullscreen in any default windows manner and does not provide the option to do so, behaving similar to how the channel settings window.
Hello, sorry for the lack of clarity.
I am attempting to use the Pattern Editor in a separate window, not on the project window lower zone.
Normally, when doing this with the Key Editor, it functions like a normal window or tab, allowing minimize, maximize (full-screen), and the ability to bump against screen borders to snap to size. The Pattern Editor no longer seems to do this, and persists between projects.
The screen border snapping:
It’s probably more of an OS thing that a cubase thing, I believe. Cubase internal windows (plugins, etc) does depends on Cubase design, but project window should follow the OS design, afaik.
try changing your screen resolution. I usually put the pattern editor on the third monitor. you should be able to place it anywhere as you said.
Did you try Always On Top? That makes it unable to be fully maximized.
This was it! Thank you so much, I never knew that was an option. I wonder how I clicked it. Thank you for your ingenuity.
