PC OS and Processor

I’m ready to retire my WL6 XP system. I’d like to start fresh with a new build. What’s the way to go for WL9? Win7, 8, 10? CPU? Number of cores, audio, video, etc.? I haven’t built a PC in a while and I’m out of touch with the current product lines.

What’s the way to go for WL9? Win7, 8, 10?

Windows 10, as this is a long term supported OS. I also get excellent performances with SSDs.

Number of cores.

WaveLab 9 is making more used of multi cores than in the past.
If you can afford 8 true core, this is good.
