I purchased the VST and to install I am told to enter an access code. I have not been given an access code; only an activation code…when I do try to open elicenser it says my soft elicenser needs to be repaired but when I click repair it says I have open programs running (which I dont)… I have found the pedal steel in my library but it is not showing up in my activation manager or download manager…
I suppose the regular way to proceed here would be to open the Steinberg Download Assistant, paste your activation code on the top left field (“add activation code”), then download the instrument… And everything would be taken care of. Is it an old instrument that still works with the e-licenser? Or is it supposed to work with the new Steinberg Activation Manager ? In which case, you don’t need to do anything

The Soft-eLicenser stored on this computer doesn’t seem to have been created on this computer.
Please contact your software vendor to solve this issue.
Any ideas?
