Per-staff visibility control for augmentation dots and barlines

For analytical workflows in Dorico (including Schenkerian and formal analysis overlays), it would be very useful to have per-staff control over the visibility of specific notational elements. In particular:

  • the ability to hyde augmentation dots without using text-frame workarounds;
  • the ability to hyde barlines in selected staves only, while keeping them visible in others

Welcome to the forum, @Marco_Stassi!

You should be able to do it by using tuplets;

You could use local (independent) Time Signatures.

Using both above mentionned techniques here:

Thank you very much, but these are procedures that I already use and that, for my workflows, are rather cumbersome. It would therefore be nice not to have to resort to alternative solutions: it would be great if this magnificent software were implemented with these and perhaps other small features that, in my opinion, would be very useful indeed.
