Perc kit instrument names

I’ve setup a 3-instrument Perc kit, using the one staff per instrument setting (vs grid or 5-line staff,

As I understand it, the instrument names should appear next to the staves in the part, but they don’t. Is that a setting or something?

Lew,

I believe you need to right-click on the first note, Percussion, and choose either Legend for all Instruments or Legend for all Sounding Instruments.

According to the manual, those legends only work with a 5-line staff. In any case, they didn’t work for me.

[Sigh] Thanks, fv. That one was fairly obvious, and I should have seen it. Sorry to waste your time on it.

I think I’m going to have to spend a little more time studying which options are contained where. Or make better lists. Or something…
